The Air Jordan 1 High ��Meant to Fly�� is a Fall 2019 release that is inspired by an early advertisement for Michael Jordan��s first signature shoe. Jordan, in the mid-80s video campaign, can be seen taking off in slow motion from a playground black-top as jet engine noises swirl in the background. While flushing home a sweet dunk, the narrator of the video can be heard saying ��Who said man was not meant to fly?�� The colorway riffs on the warm up suit Jordan wore during the spot. Premium white leather covers the mid-panel and perforated toe. Buttery black leather overlays appear on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. A black Swoosh logo graces the mid-panel and a tonal Wings logo resides on the collar. Red trimming outlines each panel of the upper to complete the look.
